Keyword Elite , The Ferrari Of Keywords Research

Submitted by: Peter Vermeeren

In order to find the right tools to research high paying AdSense keywords, it is important to know what information you want o know about keywords. It would be just great if there were a tool that told everyone exactly what Google pays for each keyword, but that doesn't exist and anyone who creates such a tool is certain to be barred from Google forever because it is a clear violation of the terms and conditions of having an AdSense account to reveal any income information to anyone else.

You can use Adwords keyword tool to select keywords and you'll get some information. But there are many, many great tools out there that will help you select the right keywords for your AdSense campaign focus. Look for only those tools that provide information about the number of searches performed, the number of competing websites and a "guestimate" of profitability.

Keyword elite will do all of that and a lot more. Keyword elite allows you to create keyword lists with the most profitable keywords and thousands of variations. Keyword elite let's you spy on your competitors adword campaigns so you can do better.

With keyword Elite you can find the highest paying keywords for adsense publishing.

WordTracker is probably the best known and most popular tool for finding keywords that are profitable and that have little competition. However, it does entail a subscription fee so that you want to subscribe for the period that you will actually use the tool and no longer. You can subscribe for a day, a week or a month, or indefinitely. Only those people who use the tool frequently should consider an indefinite subscription due to the high cost.

NicheBot is a free tool that is really handy for this. Unlike WordTracker which costs quite a bit for a subscription, this tool has just about everything you need or want and it is absolutely free to use. It is web-based and perhaps not quite as fast as WordTracker, but it works just great. And it is being upgraded all the time with new features.

KeyWordDiscovery offers a free trial period, after which there is a subscription fee. However, it is a reasonably popular tool for keyword researching.

Overture Keyword Research Tool is another free tool that you can use. It gives you the information you need but the output is based on Overture search engines and you would do much better to get Google search engine results.

To find the right tools for you, try several of the free tools you'll find with a simple Internet search. You may find one that meets your needs very well. If not, then it is time to begin using some of the subscription services.

Search Engine Optimization Vs. Search Engine Marketing: What's The Difference?

Submitted by: Simplifying The WEB

SEO and SEM are two terms that are commonly bandied about by webmasters. Sometimes it seems as if the two terms are used almost interchangeably. But is there a difference, and if so, what is it?

In fact, there is a difference. SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. It refers to anything you do to your page to make it more search engine friendly. SEM stands for Search Engine Marketing. It forms a sort of umbrella term that can refer to anything you do to get your page ranked higher in search engines, from search engine optimization to requesting backlinks to submitting your URL to search engines.

It's important to know the difference between the two when you're shopping for SEO or SEM services. If the company doesn't specify what services it offers as part of its "SEM Package," then don't hesitate to ask. And don't hand over any money until you know! Some companies may mean nothing more than submitting your website's URL to a few search engines, and you can do that yourself.

Whenever possible, get a list of specific things they plan to do to help surfers find your website. Will they submit your URL to search engines? Get a list of the search engines they plan to submit it to. ("Yahoo!, Google, and 100's More!" doesn't count.) Will they keyword optimize your site? Be sure to ask if they include META and ALT tags.

Ultimately, whether a company uses "SEO" or "SEM" doesn't matter as much as what services they offer. Ideally, SEM would be more valuable than SEO, because it would include SEO as well as other marketing strategies. But this is not always the case. As we've noted before, it can be simply a code for "stick your URL is a few search engines and be done with it." Look for reputable websites, and ask for specific services they offer. Once you've done your homework, you will be able to make an informed decision between SEO and SEM and march forward proudly, knowing that you truly got the best value for your money.

Search Engine Marketing And Search Engine Optimization: Any Difference?

Submitted by: Mikhail Tuknov

For many casual internet users, the terms SEM and SEO rarely enter their minds when they are busy jumping from one website to another. However, it is these terms that determine much of what comes out on the results page whenever we type in a word in the search tab of any accessible search engine. These terms are also responsible for all those advertisements and pop-ups that link us to even more websites, whether they may be connected to our original search or not. So just what are SEM and SEO?

In the simplest way possible, SEM and SEO are tools which website creators, especially those who are promoting and selling a certain service or product, use in order to gain a lot of exposure and better ranking for their website. Sounds easy enough, right? Well, the simplicity ends there.

To make it a tad bit complex, SEM and SEO are not the same. As suggested by the names, SEM, or Search Engine Marketing, deals more with how a website is marketed to gain exposure in the different search engines available on the internet, while SEO, or Search Engine Optimization, deals with how the web creators develop and re-develop the content, quality and structure of their entire websites so that whenever an internet user types in a particular word in the search tab, their websites have a better chance of appearing on the first few search engine results pages (SERPS).

Now, to make it even more complex, although the functions of SEM and SEO seem different, they are more effective when used together. Since the main function of SEM is to gain more exposure for a website, the more common means for attraction are online advertisements, blogs, internet articles, partner and sponsored websites, and anything that can catch the eye of the internet user. SEM also makes use of PPC (pay-per-click) and paid inclusion to further push a website’s visibility. Lastly, it is also an important process in SEM to submit the name and URL of a website to different search engines and web directories if only to inform them of the website’s existence. All this is carried out to ensure the popularity of a website.

So how does SEO come together with SEM? Well, despite having all the advertisements provided by SEM, it is truly the SEO that allows the internet user to easily and conveniently find what he is looking for. Since the function of SEO is to gain a better ranking in the SERPS, the web creator has to constantly optimize his website in order to cater to the needs of the internet user and to make it easier for spiders or web crawlers to judge whether the website’s content is relevant to the word/s being searched. Optimization is not a simple and easy task. It involves having to restructure the website regularly (by editing the html code and meta tags, changing content, reorganizing the site map, developing an easier navigational structure, etc.) so as to adapt to the rapidly changing demands of the internet user. Still, when done properly, not only does SEO help a website become more useful and therefore, more often visited by the internet user, it also helps gain more exposure since it increases the website’s chances of gaining a better rank in the SERPS.

Both SEM and SEO success rely heavily on the words or context which Internet users type in whenever they search for something on the internet. Take PPC under SEM, for example. PPC is an ad that is triggered by a particular word or context used by an internet user. Once a particular word or context is searched, a corresponding PPC ad for a website comes out. SEO works in the same way. The web creator inputs a particular Meta tag (or keyword) in his html that he believes many internet users will use when searching for information, information which the web creator’s website may contain.

Although all of these processes involving SEM and SEO are tedious and time-consuming, it all boils down to knowing and serving the target audience. A web creator must be discerning enough to know what the internet users need and want, and at the same time he must have the real passion to inform and provide the internet users with the right service and product.

Using a Search Engine Marketing Consultant to Boost Search Engine Rankings

Submitted by: Ray Subs

A search engine marketing consultant is a good resource to use if you need help developing a website that ranks high in search engine results. There are a few search engine optimization techniques that will help your website to rank higher, and a search engine marketing consultant can help you to identify and utilize these practices. The amount of traffic your website receives is directly related to the success of your business, so it is imperative that your website is properly optimized for search engines.

A search engine marketing consultant will show you how to use your website’s content, keywords, and incoming links to increase your website’s rankings. They will give you ideas you can use to improve your keyword performance and show you how to implement important changes that will lead to increased search engine rank and traffic. Choosing a search engine marketing consultant is an important part of the success of your website, so be sure to choose someone who will address all the important aspects of search engine marketing.

One of the most important factors in boosting your site’s ranking is keyword research. Figuring out which keywords are best suited for your website and which have the most competition is one of the best ways to make sure your site is ranked high. Using the right keywords within your niche market will help your website to succeed. You want to make sure that the search engine marketing consultant you choose does extensive keyword research to choose the best keywords for you as well as looks at your competition to see what keywords they are using.

The search engine marketing consultant you choose should also show you how to implement on-page optimization techniques such as meta tags, title tags, and keyword density, to help improve your site’s ranking. It is important that your keywords are used properly throughout your website and a good search engine marketing consultant will show you how to do so. Properly filling out meta and title tags will also help your website to rank higher. You will also want to fill your website with keyword rich content that adds value to your site.

There is more to search engine optimization than keywords and site content, and a search engine marketing consultant should also help you to build inbound links and utilize other off page optimization methods. Having many inbound links to your website from related websites is a great way to increase your search engine ranking. Likewise, article marketing is a very effective way to increase the number of links to your site as well as increase traffic.

If you run or are considering a paid marketing campaign, your search engine marketing consultant should also help you choose keywords for your campaign so that you receive the most traffic and click-throughs for any given keyword. A search engine marketing consultant can be a great help in getting your website the traffic it needs, if you choose one wisely.

Search Engine Marketing Guide: Things To Do To Boost Search Engine Positions And Web Site Traffic For 2006 And Beyond

Submitted by: Luke Fitzsimmons

Search Engine Marketing is very important if your want your online business to succeed. It is all about good quality high value (unique is best) content, it is what the search engine want as it is what the searchers are looking for. This is just a quick list of the top of my head but is enough to keep you busy.

• Articles: this is the most powerful way for 2006 and beyond to generate good quality one-way in bound links. I will submit them to article directories and submission services, do a search on your favourite search engine for article submission services or article directories to find relevant ones for your industry. Note it is a good idea to use relevant keywords and phrases in your articles but only if they make sense.

• Press Releases: another sure fire way to generate quality links from authority sites. Press releases are much more powerful that advertising as they are objective. Again search in your favourite search engine information on how to write a good press release if you are not familiar with them for example type in ‘tips for writing a good press release’. Then do a search for good press release submission services PRWeb.com is a very popular service

• Add regular fresh content to the site: Your Search engine marketing will only succeed if you do this - you could reuse the articles used for submissions etc… But this would probably not be the best method. Although a good idea would be to write a series of articles, use a few of them or a shortened version or an abstract (still with good quality unique content of course) for submission to the directories. Make sure you tell the readers that further articles and information can be found on your website, enticing them to visit your site to read the rest of the articles.

Make a point to add fresh content of a regular basis. For example if you are in the Overseas property industry you should add new properties, buyers guides, area guides, country guides, case studies, customer testimonials, resources (i.e. weather, travel info, car hire etc… these can be affiliate links to generate additional streams of income), again I can help.

Set yourself up a Blog and make a post to ping the search engines every time you add fresh content to your site, this will alert the search engine spiders who will come crawling to review and index your new pages. Again if you don’t know much about Blogs, use your favourite search engine to find out how to set one up. Wordpress.com is a popular service.

• Joint ventures: i.e. you email your database in return for an email to another company’s database. You know your industry; you should know who to tap up for a joint venture. Don’t simply view similar websites as competitors, this is short sighted; instead view them as opportunities and colleagues. You can swap links, exchange content (publish each other articles), email each other databases etc… use your imagination, get creative, there is enough traffic for most websites to succeed. As long as your website adds value and offers good quality unique content you will succeed.

• Hooks: you can offer your visitors something of value in return for them signing up to your newsletter. For example, again if you are an overseas property company Free Brochures, Buyers guide, legal or tax information

• Competitions: use incentive based viral marketing i.e. you can enter your site visitors into a competition for every friend or colleague they tell about your site or register for your mailing list.

• Optimise your web pages and articles: as this article was talking about using fresh content for your search engine marketing strategy I thought it best show you how to create an optimised page, for those of you that don’t know how.

In my experience I have found that it is important to optimise each webpage for a maximum of two phrases.

Title = phrase one | phrase two

Also try to keep your Meta keywords limited to a few, use the same two phrases first as in your title although you can bulk it out with another phrase, like so;

Meta keywords = phrase one, phrase two, phrase three

The Meta description must also start with your keywords but be descriptive at the same time, like so;

Meta Description =. Phrase one, information for about phrase two from your company / website name

Alt tags (first 3 images on the page should contain the phrases but also describe the picture/image, like so;

Alt= phrase one company name logo
Alt= phrase two picture
Alt= phrase one photos

It is also very important to have header tags with the keyphrase in, like so;

Phrase one

Start the page copy with a header tag

Then the first 50 words must also contain the two phrases, like so (I have underlined the phrases.
Copy
Then use another header with a phrase
phrase two
copy

phrase one

etc…

It is recommended to have between 500 – 1300 words on the page with a keyphrase weight of 2 – 5%

The key phrases should be strategically placed in an hour glass shape in the copy, i.e. a few at the top a couple in the middle and a few at the bottom.

But don’t over do it, make the copy read naturally with all the words in context.

It is also recommended to have the phrases in bold and italic somewhere on the page as this tells the search engines they are important, I usually put them in the footer like so.

Phrase one | phrase two

Last but not least it is recommended to have your key phases in hyper links i.e. linking text

For example you can have anchor links to the different header tags on the page for navigation or run of site link at the bottom of the page.

And there you have it, a quick guide on how to optimise a webpage.

Use these SEO techniques for all pages, articles, and fresh content you add to the site and you can’t go wrong, you are giving the search engines what they want, easy to understand content rich pages, regularly updated.

In return the search engines will give you what you want good-targeted traffic that will convert into enquiries.

Follow this search engine marketing guide, build solid content and good links and your search engine marketing campaign should be a success. if your liked this article and want to learn more visit loudmouse.biz
